Sehr praktischer und leistungsstarker Rüttler mit Optimierungspotenzial

Der Rüttler sieht sehr cool aus, ist klein und handlich und unerwartet leistungsstark. Er ist leise, viel leiser als andere Rüttler. Gut finde ich die handliche Größe der Schrauben. Leider haben sich bei meinem Gerät jedoch die beiden Verbindungs-Schrauben der Stangen in der Mitte immer wieder heraus gerüttelt, das ging auch zunehmend schneller, da sollten vielleicht Muttern eingesetzt werden oder Steckverbindungen...? Ein zweites Plus wäre ein orangenes Kabel, das man besser sieht. Oder noch besser - ein Akku-Antrieb? Aber das Rüttel-Gerät selbst ist wirklich super! Der Preis ist auch gut und angemessen. Obwohl der Rüttler aus London kam, habe ich relativ zügig die Rückerstattung bekommen. Danke! Ich werde den Rüttler wieder kaufen, wenn er die Verbesserungen, d. h. eine stabile Verbindung der Stangen aufweist.

Okay, this is a five star tool because it's well priced and is in a very small category of one when it comes to electric whacker plates but dropped A Star for a less than perfect handle. It is specifically aimed at the home gamer who is perhaps more enthusiastic than most when it comes to DIY and garden projects not the professional (or in my experience mostly unprofessional) builder.

So my review is based entirely on the fact that this is ideal for home use and the price is far less than a reasonable quality fuel powered machine.

So, firstly the really good thing. It's electric. And that means a couple of things. In use it's fairly quiet and that counts if you are doing work in your garden over the weekend and don't want to drive your neighbours nuts. Secondly, you don't have to mess around with petrol and lube oil which, inevitably means a cleaner and quicker job.

The tool itself does a really good job of flattening sand and other aggregates. In fact, just as good as a half reasonable petrol one which, I was quite surprised about. I had fully expected this to take a much longer to do what I've done before having done a garage build when I borrowed a mates petrol machine to flatten down the hoggin base.

The cable is robust and plenty long enough to reach most areas in a moderate sized garden or drive. No problems there.

I also noted that in the review section one of the 'Star ratings' was for 'Lightweight' which, is a bit dumb. It isn't meant to be light because it's a whacker and that needs some heft. And by gum, it is pretty weighty. So if you are blessed with arms like Olive Oil then best you prepare yourself....

Now, the bad - which I've seen other comments on. The handle is assembled using knobs so that you can disassemble for storage or transport. All well and good but....it's a whacker and therefore vibrates like a ladies bedroom toy on acid. And that means the handle knobs unscrew and fall out. You can tell when they start to slacken off immediately because the vibration in the handle increases dramatically. Given the design there is no way you can stop this because the rounded hollow bars that have the knurled knob tighten against will never allow enough friction to hold anything tight.

This would be a problem but to be honest having spent my life on ships, building them and in the offshore oil construction industry and having been pre-warned by other reviews I figured I could MacGyver it some how. If you are not happy with mechanical tools and don't want to have to do a little home work on this, then I could imagine this whacker ending up on EBay quickly...

Overall, this is a great bit of kit that works well. However, the handle falling apart will need to be dealt with and if you are not able to do this or don't feel inclined then it will be less than an ideal choice for you.

Funziona benissimo lo usata per circa 2 ore e mezza e ha piastrato benissimo non si è smontato nessun bullone che ho visto altre recensioni che dicevano che con le vibrazioni si smontavano i bulloni del manico
Io la trovo un ottima alternativa non inquinante alle piastre con motore a benzina
Ovviamente per per piccoli lavori

Die Maschine ist schon in der Lage Schotter zu glätten, aber dann Schicht für Schicht. Pflaster abrütteln funktioniert bedingt, die empfohlene Matte habe ich nicht und weiß dass selbst Profis mit schwerem Gerät zumindest für graues Betonpflaster keine benutzen. Wer größere Flächen bearbeiten will dem rate ich vom Kauf ab, zu geringes Eigengewicht. Die Schraubverbindungen des Holmes, der auch noch geteilt ist lockern sich in Sekundenschnelle wenn man die mitgelieferten Sicherungsscheiben verwendet.

achat fait pour mon terrain de pétanque, ce petit compacteur est très bien, seul petite choses trop léger, donc j'ai juste fait un support pour lui ajouté un peut de poids, niveau électrique aucun problème

Works for the amateur hard core layer

Is is good for laying thinner hard core for und slabs. Has a few design failures. One the Shakeproof washers on handle don't hold the nuts. These washers were designed for the Automobile industry in on flat surfaces, the handle is round. I replaced them with spring washers since then no problems. Two how do I wrap the cable? The two little pins are a bit small for the cable supplied. Or is the UK version only supplied with half a metre?
So far it works and was cheaper and more convenient than every three days renting a larger machine. At 26 kg. it's heavy enough for me. I had hoped as Expat. to have found an excellent machine only the design faults disappoint.

Used this to level out the ground for a paved driveway and it did the job it was asked to do. Takes a few passes to do a proper job of it but that`s to be expected as it`s not the heaviest one around. Do not try and turn it whilst it`s running and in contact with the ground, as it will simply churn up the area you`ve just flattened.
Slightly regret not having bought the slab plate but I`ll live.
