I bought this for my 2 yo daughter who is in the 75th percentile for height. The seat at its highest is about 9 1/2 inches. It is a good fit for her. My 3 1/2 yo son doesn't look too awkward when he sits and rides it around, so it obviously has some growing room. It is sturdy, stable, and easy to steer and is pretty stylish too! They include stickers so kids can decorate it themselves. They are blue, pink, and green and include cat faces, paw prints, ladybugs, and octopuses (random, but still cute).

Our quadie doesn't have an issue with the back wheels coming unscrewed and falling off like other reviewers have mentioned. The wheels go on an axle and the screws gets tightened into the axle and stays stationary and independent of the spinning wheels.

The two minor complaints I have are the assembly and the little compartment in the seat. The assembly screws are TINY. I think arthritic grandparents would have a tough time with them. Getting the handlebar and the front wheels connected was a fiddly process and the instructions (just pictures, no written description) weren't the most helpful. The screw included with the bike is different than the one shown in the instructions. The lid on the seat compartment is way too tight for little kids to pull open themselves. I had to clip off the inner latch with toenail clippers to make it useable.

My 18 month old figured this out pretty quickly- it's stable (even when my little guy decides to go down a small hill!) and easy to steer: a great first pushbike! My little guy also loves that he can put the little treasures he finds on his ride (rocks- always rocks) into the seat for safekeeping!

Four stars instead of five because it's a little bit on the short side, meaning his little feet frequently hit the back wheels (though this doesn't hurt him, it interrupts his momentum and makes me think he'll outgrow it sooner rather than later) and because I had to send the first one I ordered back for a replacement because the rear wheel was wonky. (Unfortunately, they couldn't just send a replacement wheel!) But overall, a great toddler bike!

Gute Laufrad

Meine Enkelin hat sich riesig gefreut über dieses Laufrad. Sie ist jetzt 1 1/2 Jahre alt & hat jetzt die optimale Sitzhöhe. Allerdings beanstanden wir das der Lenker nicht fest genug war ( wackelte von links nach rechts). Zum Glück ist der Opa handwerklich begabt so das wir dieses Problem lösen konnten. Ansonsten hätten wir das Laufrad zurück schicken müssen.

Fun little bike. The older infants in my infant classroom (12-18 months) fight over this bike all day long, we sometimes have to hide it from them. Easy adjustable height change. The only con and reason for not purchasing more of them is due to a little lack of durability. The bike can easily fall over which is not very convenient for little ones just learning to ride. But it does teach coordination, balance and spatial awareness and when they tumble over they usually get right back up and try again. I would recommend.

Lovely little bike for a 2 yr old. Only reason I have given it 4 stars difficult to release links from tralor/ bike but on saying that my grandson loves it. Wheels are wide enough to get good leverage in the garden. Well package good delivery. Patient Grandad bike and tailor together without much difficulty.

Great little bike. Was a bit small for my 2 year old (he is fairly tall); his feet drag quite a bit but he has gotten used to having to hold them up. Will likely not last us past this summer though :(. Well made and very light, however.

Great "first" bike. The split bar in the front does pose a risk, though, to little ones when they climb on. If they should accidentally get their leg into the space, could have a nasty injury. I'd suggest close supervision until kiddo is big enough to get on and off independently.

This is a good little bike. I like the adjustable seat and bigger wheels. I was hoping however, that the back wheels were a little narrower or farther back because my daughter still hits her feet on them when she's trying to push herself along.
