Also vorweg zu dem Kopfhörer und der Vergleich zwischen den 250- und die 32 ohm Version findet ihr weiter unten.

Ich möchte hier nämlich einmal die Möglichkeit nutzen, aufdem äußerst schlechten Kunden-Support von Beyerdynamic hinzuweisen.

Mir wurde der 250Ohm Kopfhörer mit gelösten Klebesiegel und innerer Verschmutzung geschickt. Amazon verweist an Beyerdynamic, beyerdynamic an Amazon, im Endeffekt kein entgegen kommen - lediglich Amazon hat eine Retoure angeboten. Natürlich nervig, ich bestelle ja unter anderem um nicht groß irgendwo hinzufahren und soll das Paket Retoure schicken.

Gut dachte ich mir, den Aufwand geb ich mir nicht, jetzt nach knapp 10 Tagen ist die linke Seite kaputt und erzeugt ab einer gewissen Lautstärke ein extremen pfeiffton, danke für die ungeprüfte B-Ware die ihr mir als neu andrehen wolltet.

------------ Bewertung Kopfhörer -

Unterschied Spannung / 32 Ohm vs 250 Ohm:

Vereinfacht gesagt, wenn mehr Spannung gegeben werden kann, können Bauteile wie die Spule im Kopfhörer dünner gebaut werden, dadurch so die Theorie - ist es möglich einen "klarern/ besseren / feineren" Sound zu erzeugen.

Nachteil hierbei, man braucht ein gerät was genug Spannung bringt, sonst ist der Kopfhörer viel zu leise oder klingt schlecht. 250 Ohm geht in der Regel nur mit bestimmten geräten.

Die 32 Ohm sind auch teilweise mit Smartphones nutzbar.

----------- Vergleich Sound:

Ich habe das Gefühl das die 32 Ohm Kopfhörer, basslastiger sind als die mit 250 Ohm und ich bin defenitiv kein Profi aber auch mit meinen ungeschulten gehör ist dort ein deutlicher Unterschied. Die Mitten und höhen unterscheiden sich minimal, wirken auf mich allerdings klarer auf 250 Ohm (kann aber auch Einbildung seien, der Bass ist deutlich unterschiedlich).

Ansonsten ist der klang gut, geht aber definitiv mehr und dafür das beyerdynamic sich "Studio Standard" auf die Fahne schreibt war ich jetzt nicht entäuscht, würde aber sagen für den Preis ist das nichts überragendes! Sicherlich aber wenn alles funktioniert und man keine B-Ware erhält, ein guter Gegenwert für kanppe 140€!

Sonst möchte ich nicht viel zum klang schreiben, da dieser ja von Bedürfnis zu Bedürfnis unterschiedlich ist. Wie gesagt ich denke für das Geld ist es okay, evtl. gibt's noch den besseren geheimtipp den ich nicht kenne...

------- Tragekomfort/ Verarbeitung:

Beide Kopfhörer bestehen überwiegend aus Plastik, dass nun der eine kaputt ist nach 10 Tagen, schiebe ich Mal auf die B-Ware, die mir als neu verkauft wurde.

Die 250 Ohm haben einen "Stoff" überzug welche Recht bequem ist.

Die 32 Ohm haben "Kunstleder / Leder?" Ist okay, wirkt jetzt aber nicht ultra hochwertig.

Beide Kopfhörer haben ein sehr kurzes Kabel, fürs Studio ist definitiv me Verlängerung nötig ich schätze 1 - 1,5 Meter, findet man falls es interessiert bestimmt imminternet.
Zudem kann man die Kabel nicht austauschen, somit ist beim Kabelbruch also für den Laien der Kopfhörer hin.

Ansonsten sind beide Kopfhörer höhenverstellbar. Und beide haben am kopfbügel einen überzug aus Kunstleder/Leder welchen man mit knöpfen zum wechseln abnehmen kann.

Verarbeitung, naja der eine Kopfhörer (vermutlich B-Ware) hat 10 Tage gehalten..

Hallo liebe Interessenten,

vorweg möchte ich den einen vergebenen Stern nicht falsch verstanden wissen, dies ist und bleibt eine Rezension für die 32 Ohm Version für "portable devices" und genau in diesem Licht bitte ich diese auch zu betrachten:

Seit ein paar Tagen bin ich nun Besitzer und ausgiebiger Tester des DT 770 in der 32 Ohm Variante. Diese habe ich mir ganz speziell für den Einsatz an portablen Geräten wie iPhone und Tablet gegönnt, da ich mir hier für längeres Hören in Bahn und Flugzeug etwas bequemeres als die sonst genutzten In-Ears gönnen wollte. Natürlich hat mich auch die Hoffnung getrieben, dass klanglich eine kleine Verbesserung dabei herauskommt. Denn wenn man schon mit einem Kopfhörer unterwegs ist, dann möchte man seine Musik in ruhigen Momenten auch wirklich genießen.

Zu meinem großen Bedauern und auch ein Bisschen zu meiner Verwunderung ist der DT 770 Pro 32 OHM hierfür in allen Belangen unzureichend:

* Die geschlossene Bauform ist zumindest in soweit offen bzw. ineffektiv abgeschirmt, dass das Hören von Musik und Hörbüchern in normaler Lautstärke selbst im Flugzeug dem Sitznachbarn nicht zumutbar ist. In weniger lauten Räumen kann eigentlich jeder im Abstand von 5 Metern das Musikstück erraten, das grade gespielt wird, oder zumindest den "Beat" mitnicken. Erstaunlicher Weise schirmt hier mein olles Sennheiser PC 151 Headset deutlich besser ab.

* Wesentlich schlimmer finde ich jedoch, dass der Kopfhörer ohne Verstärker nicht sinnvoll betrieben werden kann. Beyerdynamic lehnt sich hier sehr weit aus dem Fenster, wenn sie schreiben, dass dieser Kopfhörer "Perfect for portable devices" sei. Sicher ist hier der hauseigene portable Verstärker gemeint und nicht eine herkömmliche portable Audioquelle wie ein Smartphone oder Tablet.
Ich muss an dieser Stelle jegliche audiphilen Erwartungen dämpfen. Von der unbestrittenen Qualität die der 770 an einer Anlage liefert bleibt am Tablet nichts mehr übrig. Stimmen sind teilweise unangenehm verfälscht und vom "Analytical Sound" sind lediglich noch die Obertöne betroffen, was keinesfalls Freude macht. Tiefe Töne verschwimmen zu einem unangenehmen seichten und drucklosen Brei, der sich selbst mit den kuriosesten Einstellungen im Equalizer nicht mehr aufschlüsseln lässt. Schließt man nun das gleiche portable Gerät und den DT 770 an einem Verstärker an und verändert sonst möglich wenig, so überrascht der Kopfhörer wieder mit einem echt angenehmen Klangbild.

Es ist also so, dass der DT 770 einfach nichts für zu schwache Ausgangsleistungen ist. Wer sich dafür dann einen tragbaren Verstärker zulegen möchte, der ist evtl. mit dem Ergebnis sehr zufrieden. Über eine Nachricht mit der persönlichen Einschätzung würde ich mich sehr freuen.

Einen Stern gibt es, weil hier etwas beworben wird, was der Kopfhörer einfach nicht kann. An der Anlage würde ich 4 Sterne geben, weil er klanglich wirklich gut in die Preisklasse passt und hier sollen die hochohmigen Modelle sogar noch etwas besser sein. Wer sich trotzdem für diesen Kopfhörer interessiert, dem empfehle ich die dazu passenden flauschigen Velours Ohrpolster. Die sind bei diesem Modell nicht dabei und müssen extra gekauft werden. Dadurch wird es für die Außenwelt zwar nochmal etwas lauter, aber der Tragekomfort ist echt unschlagbar.

I wonder if this pair was a knockoff, instead of the real deal (i.e. authentic).
The box had been opened/returned at least once. The packaging for such an expensive product was vastly inferior to the packaging of similar products (thin box, no padding inside, etc). The manual was curled instead of flat. It looked like someone had hastily wrapped a clear plastic bag around PART of the headphone cord, but nothing else was wrapped or sealed. All appeared to all have just been shoved back in the box and returned.

Performance: not at all as expected from all I've read/researched. Regarded as an industry leader in professional headphones, these sounded pretty average, though the bass on some recordings sounded decent.
Again, because of its reputation, and the packaging, I can believe that this might be a knockoff.

Comfort: Though the earpads are soft velour, they're not wide enough - they rest partly ON the ears, and the phones become uncomfortable very quickly - the worst part being, you don't realize just how uncomfortable until you take them off (pressure on the ears maybe prevents real-time feedback). The clamping pressure on the ears is also excessive (The velour pads should be larger and thicker to relieve the clamping pressure - and again SURROUND the ear not rest ON the edge of the ear).

Summary: Very disappointing. My old Sennheiser HD 280 Pro headphones sound far superior, and are far more comfortable (and they aren't THAT comfortable), and less expensive. Unless I just got a knockoff, I'd pass on these.

UPDATE: on closer inspection, the velour ear cushions were not cut to size properly, and you can see the rough cut outer edge on both ear cushions.
Packaging: the box is even weaker/cheaper than I thought: the bottom won't hold ANY weight without coming completely open. Also, they packaged this thing so strange: there is a cardboard insert in the box that serves no real purpose other than to make it impossible to put it back in the box so I can close it (the box) - it's just too tall,
so looks like I'll need to ship it back that way (in the same outer box of course) with a note of explanation.
This has to be a knock-off, no other explanation for all of this...
What a complete waste of time and aggravation. Buyer beware...

The first thing I notice in my head is the force of the clamping of the headphones, it hurts a lot, it's not true what they say.

Comfortable, of course?

The sound is basic, not as bad as Chinese headphones, but not exceptional or impressive.

It has bass, treble and midrange, but any desktop monitor is better.

The non-removable cable is ... a headache.

I only use it to monitor my voice.

It was also dusty when I opened the package, possibly previously used.

The cable is at least long, the only good thing.

I feel ripped off, they are not worth 109 quid.

Au départ, j'ai acheté ce casque pour deux raisons :
- je suis batteur sur une e-drum : j'ai besoin d'avoir une bonne isolation phonique (et éviter d'entendre le bruit des baguettes sur les cymbales) pour ne pas avoir à monter trop le son et abîmer mon audition.
- je suis à la recherche d'un rendu pêchu de l'instrument

Hélas, à peine essayé (ça n'a pas duré longtemps) : l'atténuation n'est pas si terrible et en plus, le son n'est pas plus à la hauteur que celui d'autres casques. Vu le prix, c'est dommage. Je reste donc pour le moment sur mon Alesis DRP100 qui fait le même job (atténuation physique, confort et qualité de son) qui coûte presque 3 fois moins cher.

Die Haltbarkeit der DT 770 Pro Ohrhörer ist fraglich. Nach nur etwas weniger als 2 Jahren Gebrauch funktionierte der rechte Ohrhörer nicht mehr. Bei näherer Betrachtung stellte sich heraus, dass die Kabel im Inneren ausgefranst waren und sich gelöst hatten. Dies ist sehr bedenklich, da es darauf hindeutet, dass die Ohrhörer nicht für den regelmäßigen Gebrauch ausgelegt sind. Die Tatsache, dass eine Seite so schnell ausfiel, ist ein klarer Hinweis darauf, dass die Gesamtkonstruktion und die in diesen Ohrhörern verwendeten Materialien mangelhaft sind.

Darüber hinaus ist die Tatsache, dass der rechte Ohrhörer ausgefallen ist, eine große Unannehmlichkeit und macht das Produkt unbrauchbar. Dabei geht es nicht nur um die Klangqualität, sondern auch um die Tatsache, dass das Produkt dadurch unbrauchbar wird und eine Geldverschwendung darstellt. Das ist nicht nur frustrierend, sondern auch eine große Enttäuschung für ein Produkt, das als Kopfhörer für den professionellen Einsatz beworben wird.

Insgesamt sind die DT 770 Pro Ohrhörer keine zuverlässige Wahl für alle, die einen langlebigen, hochwertigen Kopfhörer suchen. Die schlechte Konstruktion und die verwendeten Materialien machen diese Kopfhörer zu einer schlechten Investition, die ihren Preis nicht wert ist.

Wore out fast, no warranty response

Good sound quality and decently comfortable with glasses, if a little sweaty. Treble is too prominent and sharp for me but that can be fixed with a slight reduction in an EQ.

I want to like them but they're driving me insane with how much they rattle at even modest levels of bass. The left earcup produces an extremely distracting buzzing sound at lower frequencies, overpowering the other sound. At very low sustained frequencies (such as ambient sound in horror movies or games) this becomes a crackle or popping noise that's physically painful to hear, even at low volumes.

It has only been two months since I purchased these. It's clear my headphones are either worn out or defective but I am getting zero response from Beyerdynamic while trying to claim warranty. Their website states they're temporarily shut down and won't even begin to respond to RMA requests until January of next year - a full three months after sending my information. They've also noted that I will have to pay to ship the faulty product to them.

The sound is good but the design itself seems to have major flaws prone to failure, and you're not going to get another pair. Given I'm seeing dozens of similar stories in these reviews and on other sites, I can't recommend these to anyone.

UPDATED: So I ended up purchasing another pair of these because despite their life expectancy I loved these headphones. However I've just lowered my review from 3 stars to 1 star because the design has clearly changed in the last two years and these are awful! The cable feels cheap and flimsy now, not nearly as robust as it was previously. The headphone jack has also clearly been streamlined and instead of connecting comfortably to my laptop it is clicking itself out and unplugging from the laptop. I suggest a different set of headphones from these. They new design is awful!

I've stupidly purchased 3 pairs of these headphones over the last 6 years before realising that they are not built to last! I love the sound and the comfort from these headphones and have never found headphones like these before. They are comfy and I rarely get any aches from wearing them. However they cannot handle being used daily. The right ear intermittently stopped working months ago and I was sent in a spiral back and forth between Amazon customer services and the manufacturer. Neither of which wanted to help with the 2 year warranty and in the end I gave up because no one was helping. The manufacturer sent me to Amazon and Amazon tried to get me to test the headphones and the issue was still happening so they sent me back to the manufacturer. This went on and on and in the end the manufacturer sent me a form to fill out which also needed a printed and scanned in version of the exact same form I'd filled out. It was infuriating. I gave up on getting help and tonight the right ear has stopped working completely. I just went to buy another pair and checked the reviews and I'm not the only one that's had this issue. Buy at your own risk but as an audio producer the life span of these is NOT WORTH IT!

Yeah yeah, the thing feels sturdy, and has a more premium feeling than any headphone i've tried so far. But it sounds like absolute garbage, much much worse than the oneodio i bought for $32 bucks a while back. I researched a lot before buying these headphones, and based on several reviews and comments, the 80 ohms version was almost unanimously reported to sound at least pretty good without the need of an amp/dac/whatever on most devices. Out of the box, i plugged it into my smartphone and it sounded like something i would buy for $10 bucks at the local gas station, if not worse. Bass was nonexistent, highs were muddy, and mids... What mids? Volume was really low, and when i tried cranking it up it was still low but the sound somehow managed to become heavily distorted. I thought, ok maybe my phone's built-in dac/amp is just straight up garbage, let me plug into my laptop. Surprise! Still sounds bad, just a little less now. Tried opening my FL studio and... Nevermind, what a mess. Bass clipping, heavy distortion, etc. Also, what the hell are these price fluctuations? I swear i've been looking at the 770s for a while on Amazon now, and everytime ive been here they had a different price. The day i decided to order it, it was $179. So i waited instead. Next day, still $179. Three days later, still the same. I couldn't keep waiting that long for the price to go down again since the time i was wasting while doing so was actually costing me money, so i just bought it for $179. But one day after my purchase, OF COURSE they decided to reduce the price to $138. Are you f***ing kidding me? I feel ripped off.

Anyways, now i ordered another amp and let's see how it goes. By the looks of it, it will still not sound good. Unless this thing sounds like the best thing on the planet and makes me c** with no hands on, it's going to be returned. I don't give a damn if it's a defective unit, still shows how the quality control of this company is bad, especially for one that is supposed to be an industry standard. Should have bought the MH-50x and saved me some hassle.

Edit: Still sounds like garbage even with the new amp on. Returning it.

Ich habe mir diese Kopfhörer auf Empfehlung meines Mitbewohners bestellt. Seine liegen schon seit über 10 Jahren in seinem Besitz und er ist mehr als begeistert.
Beyerdynamic hat aber ganz klar was geändert. Im Vergleich ist die Qualität so viel schlechter als damals. Aber ich war erstmal mit dem Sound zufrieden. Nach nichtmal 3 Monaten haben die Kopfhörer ihren ersten Fehler gezeigt - Wackelkontakt im billo Kabel. Ich also direkt den Verkäufer (beyerdynamic direkt) angeschrieben und gefragt in wieweit hier die Gewährleistung greift. Dazu habe ich bis heute keine Antwort bekommen und würde lediglich auf ihre eigene Websites Reperaturdienst geleitet. Der Reperaturdienst ist ein bezahlungspflichtiger Service von denen - mir wurde also gesagt ich solle doch bitte 50€/h + Versand ausgeben für eine Reperatur von einem gerade Mal 3monate altem Produkt. Nachdem ich antwortete das ich eigentlich nur wissen wollte ob es eine Gewährleistung gab wurde jede E-Mail von denen kurzer. Die letzte war "Sehr geehrter Herr Benharik, - danke für ihre Nachricht" mehr nicht.
Daher diese Bewertung - ich kann nicht verstehen warum man eine einfach vormulierte Frage nicht beantworten kann und würde jedem der Qualität oder Service sucht von diesen Kopfhörern und allem von beyerdynamic ganz doll abraten.

I've ordered these Headphones after my Roommate told me to get those. He has the same but his are already 10 years old.
They definitely changed a lot in the production of the headphones because mine got a faulty wire after less than 3 months.
After contacting the seller (beyerdynamic themselves) they told me to open a repair ticket on their website. That is a paid service they offer - after not only three months I was told to please pay 50€/h + shipping to get the headphones repaired. After asking why this is and if they have any other alternatives they just kept on reducing their answers till I only got "Dear Mr Benharik - thanks for contacting" literary that was the last mail.
Absolutely not recommended if you like good quality products or customer service.
