Major issues after only 1 month

Currently trying to get in Contact with Amazon on this although it seems there is no option since the returns Window is closed. Also tried Hozelock and they have stated to go to the retailer in the first year. I am not expecting to get bounced back and forth between the two. I had a previous hozelock (solid yellow one) for many years, although this one did seem thinner when I purchased it.

As of now the hoze is unusable after 4 uses, and I have never seen a hose go like this before. We only noticed it after using it to clean the car. Probably not goijng to buy this one again as the hose itself does feel very thin walled and not very strong. This has been proven i think by the pictures attached

Would avoid and buy a stronger one if you can

First use and it doesn't retract leaving around 5m of hose not in the spool. Doing some research... they say you are supposed to turn the water off and drain the hose completely before retracting it.... To me, if they had that warning on the box/description I would never have purchased this. Unfortunately it took me a while to screw it to the wall and give it it's first use, so now outside Amazon return period.

If I could give 0 stars then I would. The hose has a gaping hole and the auto wind mechanism DOES NOT WORK. I have attempted to start a return that has come at my own cost (prohibitive postage cost) where the seller has left a message - great aside from the fact that I’m unable to respond. Co tact seller always takes me to an Amazon bot that returns me to the order page. Robbery that wouldn’t stand anywhere other than online.

Bought to replace an older Hozelock auto reel that had started to leak and was not fixable.
This item was delivered to me on 4 May 2019 and a week later I had it fixed on a wall near map garden tap.
Since then I've used it about 6 times and on all but one occasion the hose has failed to fully auto retracted. It's obviously faulty and I'm now about to send it back for replacement.

Brand new out of the box and hose does not retract. Had a larger model of this that failed and replaced with this model. I would advise not to buy.

Stopped retracting properly after just 3 weeks so will have the expense and inconvenience of having to return. I had the 50m version for many years which was fine. The spring does not seem up to the job in this one.
