HUAWEI WATCH 3 PRO - Top Watch

Lange hin und her überlegt welche meine neue Watch Uhr es sein wird. In unserem Haushalt haben wir zwei Modelle von Samsung und eine Huawei GT.
Da ich das IPhone 12 Max habe liebäugelte ich in Richtung Apple Watch, auch top Uhren , aber bei Apple hat sich in den letzten Jahren nicht sehr viel getan und eine Watch die im Tagesdurchschnitt nach 18 Stunden wieder an die Ladestation muss kam für mich nicht mehr in die Auswahl. 1 1/2 Tage sollte so eine Watch schon minimum laufen.
Ich entschied mich nach langer Recherche für die Huawei 3 Pro Classic und bereue es nicht. Wichtig ist nach dem Auspacken und Liebäugeln, WLAN einrichten und neuste Firmware Aktualisierung durchführen für IPhone Nutzer wichtig.

Sport Apps die Standards
Aufladen ca. 2 Stunden bis100 % ich lade meistens den Akku bei ca. 30/40 % und bei 60/70 % stoppe ich den Ladevorgang, also jeden Tag, da lebt der Akku länger und ist in einigen Minuten erledigt
Koppeln über Bluetooth mit Apple AirPods Pro funktioniert gut aber momentan nur über die Radio App wenn man aus dem Haus geht ohne Smartphone, sonst die Musik wie gewohnt über Smartphone, kostet am Ende ja wieder den Strom der Watch Batterie
Gutes Zusammenspiel mit Android Smartphone noch besser ein Huawei Smartphone, sehe ich bei der Frau ihren Huawei P30 pro voller Funktionsumfang
Negativ für mich aus Sicht des IPhones 12 Max
Keine EKG Gesundheit Apps (vielleicht kommt sie noch ) Nachtrag kein EKG Sensor verbaut !
Zur Zeit bei IPhone und Huawei Watch keine MP3 Mediathek Dienst (liegt an Apple vielleicht einigen sie sich noch oder alternative )
Schlusswort : Ich bin vollkommen zufrieden mit der Huawei Watch 3 Pro, sie sieht sehr schön aus und ist robust gebaut.
Mit den negativen Punkten kann ich leben MP3 zur Zeit halt wie gewohnt über IPhone und wenn man Musik hören möchte beim Sport ohne das Smartphone mitzunehmen kann man alternativ die Radio App laden da gibt es genug gute Sender da ist für jeden etwas dabei.Wichtig funktioniert nur über aktive eSim , WLAN oder Smartphone im Mobilen Hotspot Modus mit Watch gekoppelt.

Die Huawei Watch 3 Pro ist eine sehr vielseitige Uhr, wobei mich der Sportteil weniger interessiert als die Abteilung Gesundheit. Dabei ist die Haelth-App. eine gute Ergänzung für die Watch und die Messwerte.

There are many good things I could say about this watch. The only little thing I don’t like is that it does not automatically track my exercise (like walking or running) one of the lower model I had was doing that. Having said that, what I like most about it is the battery life. It can go for more than one week without charging.

Stunning watch made with prime materials such as Titanium, ceramic and Saphire; However most of its nicest features did not work for me, for instance: I could not use the watch independently from my phone with 4G as my O2 network provider is not compatible with Huawei, I found out the only network that works with it in the UK is Vodafone and you need to pay a monthly extra fee in order for it to work; Also the most frustrating is that I could not play/control my Iphone music library from the watch is its NOT compatible with IOS !!! The battery lasts about 2 or 3 days of constant/heavier use ..Its definitely a nice looking watch but a bit from the chunky/bulky side as its a 48mm case, so its not really suitable for small/thin hands/arms…

I really liked the look, feel and overall quality of the watch, the looks in particular was the main factor in decision to get these. But I underestimated how much the Huawei's proprietary OS holds these watch back. You do get all the necessary apps to use all the advertised functions but that's pretty much it all the other things like receiving messages are done through the terrible Huawei Health app on your smartphone. Huawei's app store for the watch lack any and all familiar and useful apps. Also performance is not smooth at all even with the more then adequate hardware. It is a real shame Huawei restricted from using Wear OS or Android as their proprietary OS feels raw and lacks any third party apps and support, there's barely even any first party support.
These could have been the best watch on the market if it wasn't for poor software. Didn't think It would be such a big problem for me but it turned out to be just that. I will probably try and return these.

Overall this is a quite a good smartwatch. Comes with app gallery, although actual useful apps are very limited.
Amazing screen too and very complete health tracking (stress, heart rate, etc) and very complete list of sports too.
Now, when paired with iPhone, the extra features of this watch compared to the GT line or other smartwatches such as amazfit come useless. Most of the apps need to be launched as well on your phone, but they cannot connect with iPhone apps (including petal maps). It does not share either info such as weather so you will always need wifi (unless you are using eSim on the watch).
Notifications are also a big disappointment. They cannot expand the content on iPhone as it does on android, therefore the info shown is very very limited and you'll have to go to your phone. Also you cannot replay on iPhone.

Therefore, even though it is a very good watch, it offers nothing to the GT line when paired to an iPhone (unless you are going for an eSIM). It works as a GT 2 with better sensors, but way worse battery.

Battery usually lasts me 1 day and a half. I read on the huawei webpage that battery is half when paired to iPhone compared to android.
Make you a favour and go to the GT 2/3 or amazfit if you plan to pair the watch to an iPhone.
